Dangerous Duo? Inspectors Check if Russian Gave Nuke Aid A rogue Russian nuclear scientist working with a Middle Eastern government to develop a nuclear weapon sounds like a plot from 24, but it could be reality. The New York Times reports that inspectors from the International Atomic Energy Agency are investigating allegations that a Russian nuclear scientist helped Iran conduct complex experiments, in order to help Iran eventually detonate a nuclear weapon. The agency believes that the scientist was not working on behalf of the Russian government.
