Matt Lauer aired on the Today show.

Todd Palin: Sarah Was "Destined For Higher Positions" Todd Palin, in his first major TV interview since his wife became John McCain’s running mate, said Tuesday that Sarah Palin’s nomination was not a “huge surprise” to him, as he believed she was “destined for higher positions.” Palin, known affectionately as Alaska’s “First Dude,” spoke with Fox News’ Greta Van Susteren about snowmobile racing, hockey, fishing, moose hunting, and working on the Alaska oil fields.
