A child by another name is still your child. You spent months agonizing over what name to give your lil one and then one day she decided that she'd go by something different. Most tots have wild imaginations so it's hilarious to hear what they come up with.

Over the weekend, I told someone I just met that I had a puppy when asked if I had roommates. My pal overheard and was quick to point out that North is a grown dog.
I wasn't being intentionally deceitful (after all my parents still refer to only-child-me as "the baby" and I'm far from it), and I meant it more affectionately than realistically.

One of YumSugar's friends sent word that she is traveling to San Diego to adopt an adorable pug named Hurley, who will be the mascot for her company. The dog is beyond cute (he's seen here dressed as a pudgy spider last Halloween) and I must admit, he does look a bit like his namesake, Lost's Jorge Garcia.
