Mamma Mia! invaded London last night for the world premiere of the movie musical. Meryl Streep proved she's still got it in her fiery red dress and
Loubs, even catching the attention of handsome Piece Brosnan while producer Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson smiled big for the cameras. Amanda Seyfried lit up the night in her little green number, though she sounds even
more excited about her
Vanity Fair cover than her new film.
Mamma Mia! premiered at London's Odeon Leicester Square last night, with its all-star cast walking the blue carpet alongside fashion designers Tom Ford and Roberto Cavalli. Julie Walters put on some pretty accessories while Meryl Streep's red number complemented Amanda Seyfried's green strapless wonder. The main men Colin Firth and Pierce Brosnan kept it smart in black suits and both had their wives by their sides.

The head of the Vatican's Prefecture For Economic Affairs
said: [The stories] turned the Gospels upside down to poison the faith. It would be unacceptable to transform churches into film sets so that his blasphemous novels can be made into mendacious films in the name of business.
The Church did not even read the script, as the name Dan Brown was enough to merit a ban.

Every other Wednesday on BuzzSugar, I post a
Recast challenge, where I ask you to choose new actors for a classic TV show or movie. The reader who submits the best cast wins a BuzzSugar t-shirt!
I hope you're in a romantic mood because this week I've set my sights on a great romcom: Sleepless in Seattle. The movie was, as you probably remember, a big hit featuring box office stars Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks (who managed to have a lot of chemistry despite spending about five minutes on screen together).

Go ahead, trash Tom Hanks. He'll be forever grateful.

The Waldorf-Astoria in NYC rocked last night to welcome the
newest class of inductees into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Madonna looked happy to accept the honor and while Guy Ritchie wasn't around, her
Hard Candy collaborator Justin Timberlake was there to help celebrate. Fellow inductees include John Mellencamp and Leonard Cohen.

When I think of fascinating historical figures, John Adams isn't necessarily one who jumps out at me. But maybe that's because I just don't know enough about him yet. After all, as executive producer Tom Hanks says in the preview for HBO's upcoming
John Adams miniseries, "If I had been told this at any time in my educational career, it would have blown my little skull."
Based on David McCullough's
Pulitzer Prize-winning biography, the seven-part miniseries chronicles Adams' life as a man both dedicated to law and committed to freedom.

Saks in LA got even fancier last night for a star studded party to benefit the Entertainment Industry Foundation's Women's Cancer Research Fund. It was quite a mix of celebrity faces — from Ginnifer Goodwin to Mary J. Blige to Scott Foley.

Many of the
ladies on the red carpet had the chance to change outfits since they performed and presented as well. In fact, during some parts of the show the beautiful boys like John Mayer and John Legend were simply background fodder to Alicia Keys and Fergie's fabulous voices. We were especially excited to see Alicia getting down in an age appropriate outfit that made her shine.
