While the
Fashion Week main event
last night was Marc Jacobs, all the way out in Flushing, Queens, there was another star-studded show of talent. The men's US Open final took place with
Roger Federer beating Andy Murray in three straight sets to win for the fifth year running. Anna Wintour made sure to
get an early viewing of Proenza Schouler so she could catch her boy Roger in action, while
Natalie Portman came for the second year in a row, only this time with a girlfriend rather than a date.

It was a 90th birthday party to remember for Nelson Mandela, who went big for his star-studded celebration in London's Hyde Park yesterday. Will Smith managed to tear himself away from his non-stop
promotional tour of Hancock to catch up with his buddies Robert de Niro, Forest Whitaker and Denzel Washington, and of course to spend some time with Jada. There was no sign of Amy Winehouse, but Naomi Campbell was happy to provide the drama, showing up even though Nelson personally requested she be
removed from the guest list after her
recent legal issues.

It could be the campaign equivalent of a sucker punch. While
stumping for her mom yesterday at Butler University, Chelsea Clinton was unexpectedly rocked by the big M-question: Monica. Specifically, did the 1998 event harm Hillary's reputation.

I feel like I grew up with Chelsea Clinton. We had braces at the same time, both wore those 90s-era flowery dresses, her dad was president, I saw her once at Stanford, you know — we're practically twins. But I didn't really know her until I
cracked open this week's New York magazine.
Should Chelsea Have Answered the Kids Questions? Presidential candidates are all about the future, but what about their kids who are the next generation? When Scholastic News student reporters questioned the candidate's children, their inquires were welcomed by most from Cate Edwards to Tagg Romney. Chelsea Clinton — not so much.

From studying at Stanford and graduating with a history degree to completing a Master's degree in International Relations from Oxford Chelsea Clinton has endured her share of geekiness over the years. Who can forget her nerdy style and bad hair do's which forced her to become a prime target for scrutiny? Chelsea is one geek who represents the 75 percent chicness that's required to be named a geeksugar Geek of the Week.
