I've been a sucker for Adam Sandler since Saturday Night Live, and even more so after
he chatted up his daughters on Letterman, but it was my 4-year-old who practically dragged me to his latest flick,
Bedtime Stories, after she saw it rained gumballs in the trailer.
Once we settled into our seats to watch the story of Skeeter Bronson (Adam Sandler), a hotel handy man who collaboratively tells imaginative tales with his niece and nephew that come true, I was enjoying the movie as much as my daughter. The four bedtime fantasies — Medieval, old West, ancient Greece, and outer space — are brought to life with the cast members playing roles in each tale.

Over the holidays, celebs spent a lot of time with their families, just like most of us. From trips to see Santa to shopping to ice skating, they were busy getting one-on-one time with their lil ones. We even got a glimpse of President-elect Obama, taking advantage of some quality time with his daughter in Hawaii.

Mark Wahlberg brought his daughter Ella and brother Donnie to see the Lakers
beat the Celtics in LA on Thursday evening. As usual,
lots of other celebs were there too — Adam Sandler and Kevin James watched things from their courtside seats alongside Samuel L. Jackson and Denzel Washington.

Russell Brand dressed in his usual all-black outfit and
those Sass & Bide's Rat Leggings that he loves as he returned to his Hampstead home carrying a signed West Ham football and a copy of the Big Issue yesterday. It's been a tough few months for Russell, what with the
Manuelgate scandal, but his pals across the pond have been publicly supporting him. Having
been called an "angel" by Bedtime Stories director Adam Shankman, Russell's now been called "a sweet kid" by his costar Adam Sandler, who's been chatting with Radio One Newsbeat.

Keri Russell and Courteney Cox matched their black sashes but weren't accompanied by their husbands at the
Bedtime Stories premiere in LA last night. Adam Sandler brought his wife, Jackie, who Keri recently thanked for
helping cast her in the movie. Russell Brand stayed away from his costar and ex, Teresa Palmer, but did mention that he's hoping to
share a New Year's kiss with a Jonas Brother.

After a
rather downplayed performance on the UK red carpet for the premiere of Bedtime Stories, Russell Brand was back to his old self — huge hair and all — as he posed and joked at the US premiere.
Vocal supporter of our Brit comedian, director Adam Shankman, smiled alongside him, while glamour was brought to the red carpet by Courteney Cox,
Russell's ex Teresa Palmer and Keri Russell. Guy Pearce brought a different shade of handsome than Russell, his specs appeal shining out as he walked the press line, don't you think he looks gorgeous?

Jack is short for John and somehow Molly is a nickname for Mary, but Adam Sandler isn't abiding by the proper rules of naming even if it upsets his mother. When the funny man stopped by the
Late Show with David Letterman to promote his new, kid-friendly flick,
Bedtime Stories, the daddy of two got to talking about his mother's issue with his second daughter's name, Sunny. It turns out the older Sandler thought it was more a nickname than a given one so he joked that his baby's birth certificate reads, "Sunday Night Football."

Adam Sandler bundled up in a puffy jacket before taking his casual style into the Ed Sullivan Theater for a chat with Dave Letterman yesterday. He was there to promote
Bedtime Stories, but also came prepared with plenty of his own tales about
getting ready for the holidays with his wife and daughters. After telling Dave about fulfilling his dream to "get rich and live in a house full of chicks," Adam took the stage for a special performance of Neil Diamond's "Like a Hurricane."

Russell Brand was out and about over the weekend, heading from his house to an osteopath appointment in North London. His movie Bedtime Stories
premiered in the UK last week, with Russell taking to the red carpet with costar Adam Sandler. In contrast to his reputation in the media over here, director Adam Shankman
had this to say about the controversial comedian:
"Russell has the craziest reputation over here, I mean, that Russell Brand never showed up on my set.
