i can understand how celebs can help a candidate cause people are willing to support a pop culture icon if they don't know about the issues - but this is just getting to be too much of a production and a 'show' if you think about it and it's really missing the point of being a Presidential candidate deciding thing

I don't think these people are going to be a part of the actual convention. They might have tickets to watch it, but it looks like none of them are performing or presenting anyone or anything like that. All of the events listed by their names looked like private parties held by private organizations.
