I just feel utterly hopeless every time I see this headline.

What I don't understand is how were 4 soldiers guarding 870 prisoners? There's got to be a part of this story we aren't getting.

There were more than 4 guards at the prison - the NY Times says 15 guards were killed and other guards managed to keep 200 other prisoners from getting out.

This is horrible! I can't believe no one has commented on this.

Also the rate of American's killed is now more in Afghanistan than in Iraq.
