Shocked.That was my feeling when I saw that thread in The Fashion Spot.Courtney Love in a cover? they must be mental,well they arent.I think of this as Lorraine Candy's search for improvement,because this magazine is getting better by the day(or month,to be more precise).At the end this cover isnt the trashy thing that I was expecting.I rather to see Courtney Love(a girl that I dont relli care at all),than to see my all time favourite Keira Knightley in that hideous cover shooted by Mario Testino in the October issue of US vogue.The list continues as the most recent edition of UK vogue features the gorgeous Cate Blanchett looking plainer than ever. 1 Week into My 16-week Journey and…
I LOST 2.5LBS THIS WEEK!!!
BASICALLY I:
-Stuck to eating 5-6 meals a day of protein/complex & fibrous carbs and a decent amount of water about 80% of the week
- Grazed “HEALTHFULLY” the rest of the week
-Tried to sleep 6-7 hours a night (even though I had tons of school work)
-For the cheats I allow myself I had 1 sliver of chocolate cake and a twix bar…
-Worked out 2 days this week but…I over exerted myself and could barely walk after Day 2
MY SETBACKS:
-The 5-6 meals I ate were HUGE portions…I like eating until I feel full which I think may be a problem as I’ve read one should only eat until 80% full
- I need more water, so this week I’ll be trying to drink 1 glass before and 1 glass after meals or even herbal tea. My aim: 8-12 cups of water
-As stated above I only worked out 2 days instead of 5 which was disappointing L
-I need to figure out HEALTHY CHEATS:
I think cheating weekly with copious amounts of sugar and bad crap defeats the purpose of a healthy lifestyle…so maybe cheating or derailing (sounds better than cheating) with vegan cookies -which are far healthier- or trying out new *ethnic restaurants like Ethiopian food for example would be wiser (a naturopath I saw a few years back said ethnic food is far healthier-so why not use it in my “derailing” meals)
Any advise on healthy cheats/derailments???
since it's a recession and i am an artist i decided to make a lot of decorations from paper. i also got my very first artificial tree since i have allergies and my boyfriend has asthma (plus the dog likes to eat tree needles). these are the results of nights doing crafts until dawn because i am a night owl.
