Aw, heck! I missed this pretty little jokester! John Edwards, that ol' Son of a Millworker was back in top, shiny-haired form last night on The Colbert Report. He delivered the EdWords possibly better than Colbert himself. Catch the graphic after he hits his "two Americas" talking point? Ha!

Get Flash to see this player.

Johnny, I'll make sure you get that JetSki if I have to buy it myself. Thanks to sugarbean who caught this live — and we were wondering, that pin Edwards is wearing? I'm pretty sure it's his late son's Outward Bound pin, but the "O" shape does make the imagination race . . . ?

If he ever made that speech during his campaign I would have followed him into hell.

In a good way? Is that a positive sentiment? It's hard to tell on a Friday... I dug it, that's for sure. Smiling

I see your point, but saying you'll follow someone into Macy's just doesn't have that same determined feel.

i am glad he is not going to be president, because after 4-8 years of presidential stress, all of that cuteness would be obliterated.

I am so sad he is out of the race. I was rooting for him from the start. It was wonderful to see him on the screen again and that was really funny.

I wish he'd go quietly into the night. He is a selfish man and doesn't care about his neighbors. To explain, he purchased a house in North Carolina at a greatly reduced price, because the neighbor's yard was a auto salvage yard. He then sued the neighbor to make him clean up the yard saying it was destroying his property value.

He jogged past me a couple of weeks ago in L.A. I was watching him run down the street even before I recognized him - he's very hot.

I could see him as VP- you all think that is why he is popping up again?

I don't think Obama could take him as running mate - they'd be slammed hard as too inexperienced. Maybe Clinton could. I think he'd be good at attorney general - could clean up the Justice Department.

I bet he is gunning HARD to be VP. North Carolina can't stand him, so he know's he can't get an elected position there again.

I don't see how either candidate can take hime and not get blasted on the inexperience issue. Neither candidate has any real experience running a government of any sort.

Not neither candidate: NONE of the current presidential candidates has any real experience running a government of any sort.
