To all of you who serve in our armed forces, and those of you who've shared your stories, thank you. This picture is of my grandfather who served in the Army from 1939-1969, from World War II through Vietnam. He's one of my heroes. Whether you or a loved one are currently serving, or if you have strong opinions about how our military is being used, remember your heroes during this election season — vote.

That's an awesome picture and an awesome story. I go to school on the grounds where both my grandfather and uncle were stationed. I, too, was in the military and I feel "at home" here because it still has the essence of a military base, but I am comfortable with that.
